Shane charges $15.00 per hour for this service and very rarely takes more than 2 hours to draw your design. Selecting A Tattoo ArtistBecause Celtic art is difficult to tattoo, we highly suggest that you do your research to select a tattoo artist that is capable of tattooing Celtic art.Most Tattoo artists hate tattooing Celtic designs. They are not easy, and they take a great amount of attention to detail. The lines are very easy to accidently cross, and once they make a mistake, it is permanent. **When selecting a tattoo artist, make phone calls to the shops in your area and ask about the artists. Ask which ones of them have experience tattooing Celtic tattoos and do your research on them. Ask if they have a portfolio with Celtic tattoos in it that you can examine. Take notes on their names and go into the shop to check out their art. Look closely at the Celtic designs. Especially look for complicated Celtic tattoo designs. Make sure they did not cross any of the lines, and make sure the lines are smooth (without any blotches). Take notes while you are there. If they only have Celtic designs tattooed that are easy designs, take a note on it. If they have an extremely complicated design, make a note on it. Then go to the next shop.
